The Lakeshore Travel Teams: Team 1, Team 1 Practice Squad and U15
The Lakeshore Travel Team structure consists of two separate seasons: Summer and Fall. The summer season begins in June, right after your high school season ends. The fall season begins in September and ends in February. There will also be two teams for each season, Team 1, Team 1 Practice Squad and U15. Both teams will have an experienced coaching staff and a dedicated goalie coach. Upon tryout completion two competitive teams will be fielded. Teams will be created based on player’s skill and experience with Team 1 being the best all around players. We play in selected tournaments including major national and local recruiting tournaments. Practices will begin 4-6 weeks prior to each event. The cost per player per season is $300, which includes coaches, administrative fees, practices and field use. Tournament fees and travel costs, however, are additional.

Team 1 Practice Squad  *NEW FOR FALL 2008*
This year we will be accepting 20 field players, up to 3 goalies, as well as 10 "Team 1 Practice Squad" to Travel Team 1. A Team 1 Practice Squad position is a new addition the Travel team this year.

Team 1 Practice Squad members will be invited to practice with the team during the season and will be asked to fill in as alternates, should someone be unable to go to any of the tournaments. In the event that a player cannot come, an alternate will be invited, based on the position(s) needed. Team 1 Practice Squad members will be able to enjoy all of the benefits of practicing with the team at a 33% discount ($200) from the cost of Travel Team membership ($300). However, all players who travel to any tournaments are expected to pay the total costs associated with the tournaments, including airfare and the tournament fee, which is determined based on the particular costs associated with each tournament (team registration, hotels, coaches' fees, rental vans & gas, etc). Please address any questions regarding this new position to Travel Team Head Coach: This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .
